Jay Galindez vs Gethin Shanks

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 01/04/2024:

Clearly Rattlesnake Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jay Galindez (4 - 0) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Gethin Shanks(0 - 1 - 1) from Philadelphia, USA.  Galindez weighed in at 122 pounds, while Shanks weighed in at 121 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Celestino, and the three ringside judges are Amon East, Stuart Ferrera and Leon Zamorano.  

Round 1: 

Galindez is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Shanks steps away from his opponent.  Galindez feints a jab, but Shanks does not fall for it and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Galindez closes the distance.  Shanks pivots to the left of his opponent.  Galindez drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Galindez attempts to land a left hook, but Shanks sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Galindez is on target with a cross.  
Galindez switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.
