Cipriano Leyba vs Sancho Tabares

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional promoted show at Santiago Chirinos Gym, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 16/04/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cipriano Leyba (4 - 9 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Sancho Tabares(12 - 0 - 1) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Leyba weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Tabares weighed in at 139 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Reynaldo Arellanes, and the three ringside judges are Diego Roberto, Santiago Cura and Neron La Torre.
