Boxing Daily Report from the Atsu Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Este Amaro, Santo Domingo Este,  taking place on 16/04/2024:

Clearly Atsu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ovidio Hernadez (7 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Ovidio Muniz(9(1) - 3) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Hernadez weighed in at 167 pounds and 6 ounces, while Muniz weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Cendejas, and the three ringside judges are Quito Suero, Quito Suero and Urvano Corea.
