Phil Platter vs Sid Goldring

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Smoking Gym, Los Angeles,  taking place on 30/04/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Phil Platter (4 - 0) who hails from Phoenix, USA and Sid Goldring(4 - 7 - 3) from Wichita, USA.  Both Platter and Goldring weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Hasson, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Salido, Mark Hyland and Rob Fulton.  

Round 1: 

Goldring gets on the inside.  Platter lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Platter holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.
