John Chew vs Mark Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-North Carolina promoted show at Charlotte Craig, Charlotte,  taking place on 17/04/2024:

Clearly AI USA-North Carolina have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Chew (5 - 5 - 2) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Mark Owen(8 - 0) from Greensboro, USA.  Both Chew and Owen weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Cameron, and the three ringside judges are Owen Johns, Arthur Atcheson and Paul Gath.  

Round 1: 

Owen gets on the inside.  Chew throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
