Hayden Callender vs Mel Hamell

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Kingston promoted show at Kingston Smiles, Kingston,  taking place on 17/04/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica-Kingston Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hayden Callender (5 - 2(1)) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Mel Hamell(5 - 6 - 3) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Callender weighed in at 174 pounds and 10 ounces, while Hamell weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charles Alford, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Stater, Edward Bivens and Davie Taylor.
