Reynaldo Ylacad vs Hai Hien

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Rooq Gym, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 04/04/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Reynaldo Ylacad (3 - 0) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Hai Hien(0 - 3) from Hanoi, Vietnam.  Ylacad weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Hien weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehman Saadeh, and the three ringside judges are Azam Asmar, Tariq Ahmed and Ibrahim Mohammed.  

Round 1: 

Ylacad sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.

Hien advances into close range.  Ylacad pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ylacad steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.

Hien is looking to close the distance.  Ylacad throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ylacad is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a ramrod jab.
