Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Rooq Gym, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 04/04/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Eddi Apriantono (6 - 0) who hails from Binjai, Indonesia and Edward Yep(2 - 5) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Both Apriantono and Yep weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Azam Asmar, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Ahmed, Rehman Saadeh and Ibrahim Mohammed.  

Round 1: 

Apriantono pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Apriantono gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Apriantono lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Apriantono closes the distance and digs in a firm right hook to Yep's body.  
Apriantono digs in a left hook to Yep's ribs.  Apriantono ties up his opponent.  Apriantono pushes his forearm into Yep's face.  The ref breaks Apriantono's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
