Ryo Mieras vs Khalid Guedj

Boxing Daily Report from the MCK MARBELLA promoted show at MCK Gym, Malaga,  taking place on 06/04/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ryo Mieras (5 - 1) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Khalid Guedj(3 - 4 - 2) from Constantine, Algeria.  Both Mieras and Guedj weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cortez Portilla, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Portilla, Fanuco Daza and Jax Marin.  

Round 1: 

Mieras gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mieras lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mieras steps inside and walks Guedj down, trapping him in a corner.  Mieras connects with a left uppercut.  
Mieras quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Mieras closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Guedj's body.  
Mieras steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Mieras manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Mieras lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Guedj attempts to land a jab, but Mieras blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mieras gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Mieras clinches his opponent.  Guedj throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Mieras connects with a left hook.  Mieras clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mieras pushes his forearm into Guedj's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mieras walks Guedj into a corner.  Guedj throws a left uppercut, but Mieras holds on to his opponent.  Mieras is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mieras.
