Sammy Chibhabha vs Ian Nyumbu

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, Bulawayo,  taking place on 27/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Zimbabwe Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sammy Chibhabha (7 - 0 - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Ian Nyumbu(11 - 4 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Chibhabha and Nyumbu weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kaleb Muzanenhamo, and the three ringside judges are David Kapinda, Arran Sibanda and Chris Colville.
