Chris Maguire vs Michael Keen

Boxing Daily Report from the Elliot Britton promoted show at Elliot Gym, Bristol,  taking place on 06/04/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Chris Maguire (4 - 0) who hails from Bristol, UK and Michael Keen(5 - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Maguire weighed in at 135 pounds, while Keen weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Keith Gruffudd, and the three ringside judges are Mel Williams, Mark Rhind and Paul Hector.

Round 2:

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Keen dabs at his face checking for damage.  Keen has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Keen closes the distance.  Maguire throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Maguire ties up his opponent.  Keen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Keen to stop fouling.

Maguire lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Maguire ties up his opponent.  Keen tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Maguire behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Keen.
