Martin McCardle vs Engel Baete

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Manchester Velodrome, Manchester,  taking place on 22/04/2024:

Clearly Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Martin McCardle (4 - 0) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Engel Baete(1 - 1 - 2) from Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Both McCardle and Baete weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thomas MacGregor, and the three ringside judges are Bart McPhee, Shaun Halliburton and Ewan Goodlet.
