Zafa Alhamdani vs Syed Elashi

Boxing Daily Report from the Bally's Boys promoted show at Haider Kadir Gym, Sana'a,  taking place on 02/04/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Zafa Alhamdani (1 - 0) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Syed Elashi(1 - 10 - 3) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Alhamdani weighed in at 134 pounds and 13 ounces, while Elashi weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Faisal Hossain, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Ibraheem, Ibrahim Saffy and Rehan Abidi.  

Round 1: 

Elashi gets on the inside.  Alhamdani is on target with a firm left hook.

Alhamdani ties up his opponent.  Alhamdani is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Alhamdani.

Alhamdani quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Elashi's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Elashi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Elashi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
