Shankar Basu vs Abhay Madhaven

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Indira Gandhi Arena - KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, New Delhi,  taking place on 03/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shankar Basu (7 - 7 - 2) who hails from Lucknow, India and Abhay Madhaven(7 - 7 - 2) from Mumbai, India.  Basu weighed in at 139 pounds And 11 ounces, while Madhaven weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Suneil Dhingra, and the three ringside judges are Gautam Trivedi, Atif Mostafa and Syed Ghazal.
