Sajid Dagher vs Sajid Bata

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Abu Dhabi Ababneh, Abu Dhabi,  taking place on 07/04/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sajid Dagher (6 - 0) who hails from Al Ain, UAE and Sajid Bata(3 - 5) from Abu Dhabi, UAE.  Dagher weighed in at 126 pounds, while Bata weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Amer Fyad, and the three ringside judges are Ali Yassin, Waqas Saba and Asif Burkitt.  

Round 1: 

Dagher gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to Bata's ribcage.  Dagher clinches his opponent.  Dagher is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Dagher has taken some damage there.  That has caused a bad cut  the right eye.  .

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Bata.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
