Elvis Jepsen vs Egil Loft

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalabulo Promotions promoted show at Odense Clasen, Odense,  taking place on 14/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Denmark-Region Syddanmark Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elvis Jepsen (9 - 5 - 4) who hails from Odense, Denmark and Egil Loft(3 - 10 - 1) from Odense, Denmark.  Both Jepsen and Loft weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Olan Duus, and the three ringside judges are Thorstein Kaas, Haakon Magnussen and Kelsey Samuelsen.  

Round 1: 

Loft advances into close range.  Jepsen pivots to the side of his opponent.  Loft attempts to land a right hook, but Jepsen blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Jepsen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Loft walks Jepsen down, trapping him in a corner.  Loft quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jepsen is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jepsen is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  
Loft manages to force Jepsen onto the ropes.  Jepsen is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Loft pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Jepsen switches the action to the outside.  Loft lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Jepsen attempts to land a cross, but Loft blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
