Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at YMCA Ground, Kampala,  taking place on 23/04/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Raimy Chapema (11 - 1 - 3) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Umair Abboud(11 - 3(1) - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Chapema weighed in at 242 pounds and 8 ounces, while Abboud weighed in at 246 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Koreta, and the three ringside judges are Tavarius Tebazaalwa, Aftab Majid and Zachary Akiibua.
