Volodymyr Wasik vs Gennady Galey

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringtime Ukraine promoted show at Slavutych-Arena, Zaporizhia,  taking place on 29/04/2024:

Clearly Ringtime Ukraine have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Ukraine Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Volodymyr Wasik (9 - 2) who hails from Zaporizhia, Ukraine and Gennady Galey(9 - 3) from Kharkiv, Ukraine.  Wasik weighed in at 240 pounds, while Galey weighed in at 235 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Wasyl Bunda, and the three ringside judges are Ioakim Andrick, Apostol Sklar and Vasili Markin.
