Rob Labi vs Oscar Moffa

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 11/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Rob Labi (3 - 0) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Oscar Moffa(8 - 5 - 2) from New York City, USA.  Both Labi and Moffa weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Dillon, and the three ringside judges are Shamus Quirke, Joshua MacCarthy and Leeroy MacEwan.  

Round 1:

Labi lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Labi walks Moffa down, trapping him in a corner.  Moffa wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Labi has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
