Franco Candelaria vs Edmundo Junco

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Monterrey Durazo, Monterrey,  taking place on 25/04/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Franco Candelaria (15 - 0) who hails from San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico and Edmundo Junco(4 - 3) from Guadalupe, Mexico.  Candelaria weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces, while Junco weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Capistran, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Yanez, Frisco Maya and Porfio Bosque.
