Joel Malcomb vs Marama Purukama

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, Auckland,  taking place on 26/04/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel Malcomb (11(1) - 0 - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Marama Purukama(10 - 4) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Malcomb weighed in at 147 pounds, while Purukama weighed in at 146 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mike Sproule, and the three ringside judges are Chris Booth, Harvey Dorch and Dale Mostyn.
