Mike Shanks vs Peter Wynn

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Taita Sport & Community Centre, Wellington,  taking place on 26/04/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Wellington Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mike Shanks (12(2) - 2 - 1) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Peter Wynn(6 - 5 - 5) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Shanks and Wynn weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mel Binner, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Page, Ollie Steel and Erorangi Muunu.
