Nasario Amezquita vs Juan Mones

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Misamis Oriental promoted show at Juan Palapal Gym, Cagayan de Oro,  taking place on 28/04/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Misamis Oriental Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nasario Amezquita (8 - 2 - 1) who hails from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and Juan Mones(14 - 3) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Amezquita and Mones weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Maybituin, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Tagamolila, Carlos Buitron and Xaver Cabatana.
