Kong Chak vs Daichi Kiyabu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at ACROS Arena Hall, Fukuoka,  taking place on 01/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kong Chak (15(10) - 1) who hails from Zhengzhou, China and Daichi Kiyabu(3 - 0) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Chak and Kiyabu weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ryo Hora, and the three ringside judges are Yoshi Ogura, Kaede Kuba and Kazuki Shimoda.  

Round 1: 

Chak feints a jab, and then lands a cross to the head, a cross to the body and an overhand left to the head.  
Kiyabu gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Chak blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Chak steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kiyabu drives a left hook into Chak's body.  Chak wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kiyabu dabs at his face checking for damage.

Kiyabu is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Chak lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kiyabu quickly recovers.
