Borya Marpuke vs Kir Paleja

Boxing Daily Report from the TW Promotions promoted show at Skonto Hall, Riga,  taking place on 20/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Latvia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport Baltic, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Borya Marpuke (8(1) - 0) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Kir Paleja(3 - 5 - 2) from Riga, Latvia.  Both Marpuke and Paleja weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Konstantin Pipkalejs, and the three ringside judges are Afon Shaurinsh, Ivan Prusis and Yulian Smilduzieds.
