Jun Yokota vs Keiichi Kojima

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at ACROS International Conference Hall, Fukuoka,  taking place on 01/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jun Yokota (11 - 4 - 1) who hails from Hakodate, Japan and Keiichi Kojima(6 - 5 - 1) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Both Yokota and Kojima weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiroki Sawa, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Shinsato, Naoki Matsumura and Hisao Kamei.  

Round 1: 

Yokota tries to step out of his opponents range.  Yokota quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.
