Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Tamil Nadu promoted show at Hemant Chacko Gym, Chennai,  taking place on 01/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Tamil Nadu Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashoka Gangwar (11 - 0 - 2) who hails from Chennai, India and Akil Patel(12 - 5) from Chennai, India.  Both Gangwar and Patel weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ananth Takshak, and the three ringside judges are Randeep Sharma, Aftab Dia and Amer Meskin.
