Batur Bozkurt vs Mehmed Shashmaz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Adana promoted show at Hakan Shensoy Gym, Adana,  taking place on 01/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Adana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Batur Bozkurt (9 - 0 - 1) who hails from Adana, Turkey and Mehmed Shashmaz(8 - 0) from Adana, Turkey.  Both Bozkurt and Shashmaz weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ediz Emin, and the three ringside judges are Ediz Emin, Suleyman Aldemir and Can Ganem.
