John Acquaah vs Colin Ankomah

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Prison Canteen, Accra,  taking place on 20/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Acquaah (9 - 2 - 4) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Colin Ankomah(4 - 6 - 6) from Achiaman, Ghana.  Acquaah weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces, while Ankomah weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Kessels, and the three ringside judges are Noel Koranteng, Nabulung Berko and Louis Kugblenu.  

Round 1: 

Ankomah manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Acquaah lands a cross.
