Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Anzoategui promoted show at Barcelona Villafranca, Barcelona,  taking place on 03/05/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hernan Zubia (6 - 8 - 3) who hails from Valencia, Venezuela and Nicandro Marcelo(7 - 8 - 2) from Barcelona, Venezuela.  Both Zubia and Marcelo weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Espana, and the three ringside judges are Antonio Valdez, Angel Mesa and Xaverius Estremera.
