Jarek Burczyk vs Fedir Truss

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Vilnius Drobny, Vilnius,  taking place on 26/04/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jarek Burczyk (8 - 0) who hails from Vilnius, Lithuania and Fedir Truss(2 - 12 - 4) from Brest, Belarus.  Burczyk weighed in at 239 pounds And 14 ounces, while Truss weighed in at 213 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jeronim Kocon, and the three ringside judges are Marik Sosinski, Ryszard Bien and Gabrysz Grosz.  

Round 1: 

Truss tries to step out of his opponents range.  Burczyk lands a straight 1 - 2.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Burczyk dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Burczyk.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
