Robert Vint vs Brett Cousin

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 12/04/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Robert Vint (0 - 0) who hails from Columbus, USA and Brett Cousin(2 - 2 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Vint and Cousin weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser McNabb, and the three ringside judges are Francesco Ghiglia, Dan Nish and Ewan Duffy.  

Round 1: 

Cousin closes the distance.  Vint pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cousin hits home with a right hook.  Cousin tries to land a right hook, but Vint blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Vint lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Cousin advances into close range.  Vint pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Vint steps to the outside and attempts to land an overhand left, but Cousin sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Cousin gets on the inside.  Vint pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vint lands a jab.  
Cousin is on target with a cross.  
Vint connects with a left uppercut.  
Vint switches the action to the outside.  Vint circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Cousin connects with an overhand right.  
Vint feints a right hook, and then lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Cousin is looking to close the distance.  Vint pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.
