Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 27/04/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sam Burns (5 - 0) who hails from Perth, Australia and Sam Allen(5 - 2 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Burns and Allen weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Taggart, and the three ringside judges are Mark Taggert, Chris Weir and Francesco Ghiglia.  

Round 1: 

Burns sidesteps to the left of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.
