Afanas Byambajargal vs Davaa Merkulov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mongolia-Ulaanbaatar promoted show at Ulaanbaatar Kajrbeckoff, Ulaanbaatar,  taking place on 05/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mongolia-Ulaanbaatar Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MNB, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Afanas Byambajargal (6 - 3 - 1) who hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Davaa Merkulov(4 - 1 - 1) from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.  Both Byambajargal and Merkulov weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Saif al Din Natsagdorj, and the three ringside judges are Gennady Vampilov, Mika'il Rao and Zhu Damdinsharav.
