Boxing Daily Report from the AI Morocco-Grand Casablanca promoted show at Casablanca Soussi, Casablanca,  taking place on 05/05/2024:

Clearly AI Morocco-Grand Casablanca have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco-Grand Casablanca Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Izz al Din Yusuf (4 - 1 - 2) who hails from Casablanca, Morocco and Barkad Chernoubi(9 - 2 - 2) from Casablanca, Morocco.  Both Yusuf and Chernoubi weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sabeer Amor, and the three ringside judges are Ismail Berouas, Saad Hashemi and Sabeer Amor.  

Round 1: 

Yusuf is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Chernoubi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yusuf is on target with an overhand right.  
Chernoubi gets on the inside.  Yusuf throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Chernoubi gets on the inside.  Chernoubi pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Chernoubi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Chernoubi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Chernoubi steps inside.  Chernoubi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Chernoubi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Yusuf connects with a left hook.  
Chernoubi gets on the inside and manouvers Yusuf onto the ropes.  Yusuf lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Chernoubi closes the distance and lands a left hook.

Yusuf tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.

Chernoubi gets on the inside.  Chernoubi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a solid right uppercut.  
Chernoubi closes the distance.  As Chernoubi tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Yusuf has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Yusuf tries to land a jab, but Chernoubi blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Chernoubi pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
