Ellis Manyeruke vs Makalo Gumbo

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 28/04/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ellis Manyeruke (3 - 0) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Makalo Gumbo(7 - 5 - 3) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Manyeruke and Gumbo weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Siphelele Nhlapo, and the three ringside judges are John Nzambi, Amon Makwetla and Here Van Heerden.  

Round 1:
