Quaashie Acheampong vs Dillon Assiful

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Prison Canteen, Accra,  taking place on 20/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Greater Accra Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quaashie Acheampong (9 - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Dillon Assiful(9 - 3 - 3) from Accra, Ghana.  Acheampong weighed in at 199 pounds and 11 ounces, while Assiful weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nabulung Berko, and the three ringside judges are Noel Koranteng, Louis Kugblenu and Joe Kessels.
