Dai Kimmey vs Chris Bothwell

Boxing Daily Report from the T5 Promotions promoted show at T5 Gym, North Shore,  taking place on 19/04/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dai Kimmey (1 - 0) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Chris Bothwell(7 - 3(2)) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Kimmey weighed in at 108 pounds, while Bothwell weighed in at 107 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Corey Hopper, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Chisholm, Dave Loar and Billy Nesmith.  

Round 1: 

Kimmey hits home with a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kimmey dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Kimmey.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
