Michael Cart vs Freddietje Letins

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Wolverhampton Boswell, Wolverhampton,  taking place on 30/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are The New 1 Michael Cart (6 - 0) who hails from Manchester, UK and Freddietje Letins(2 - 5 - 2) from Utrecht, Netherlands.  Cart weighed in at 242 pounds, while Letins weighed in at 251 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Hyland, and the three ringside judges are Hayden Ritchey, William Taylor and Thomas MacGregor.  

Round 1: 

Cart lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Cart advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Letins in the red corner.  Cart drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Cart manages to force Letins into a corner.  Cart lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Letins lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Cart attempts to land a right uppercut, but Letins dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Cart's body.  
Cart steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Cart drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Cart lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Cart advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cart connects with a right uppercut.  
Letins pivots to the right of his opponent.  Letins throws a right hook, but Cart clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cart pushes his forearm into Letins's face.  The ref breaks Cart's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Letins sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cart lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cart connects with a left uppercut.  
Cart steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Letins's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Letins's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Cart lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  Cart clinches his opponent.  Cart leans on his opponent using all his weight. Cart is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cart about fouling.  
Letins attempts to land a jab, but Cart slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Cart is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cart cuts off the ring, trapping Letins on the ropes.  Cart lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Cart lands a right uppercut.  
Cart gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cart steps inside.  Letins throws a left hook, but Cart clinches his opponent.  Cart tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Letins's kidney. 
Cart closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Letins is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Cart connects with a cross.  
Cart steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Cart feints a cross, but Letins is not fooled and responds with a left uppercut.
