Humberto Stigler vs Bohuslav Cihak

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Arena Fyn, Odense,  taking place on 17/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the WRBO Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Humberto Stigler (14(7) - 1) who hails from Augsburg, Germany and Bohuslav Cihak(16 - 0) from Prague, Czech Republic.  Both Stigler and Cihak weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Toste Willemsen, and the three ringside judges are Thorstein Pio, Quinby Boie and Toste Detjen.  

Round 1: 

Cihak is looking to close the distance.  Cihak lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cihak dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Stigler throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
