Orji Emeagwali vs Farhan Jamil

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Craven Park Stadium, Hull,  taking place on 25/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the WRBA Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Orji Emeagwali (15(11) - 0) who hails from Kaduna, Nigeria and Farhan Jamil(13 - 1) from Cairo, Egypt.  Emeagwali weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces, while Jamil weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jamie McNabb, and the three ringside judges are Michael Taylor, David Fridge and Iain McClure.  

Round 1: 

Jamil throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.

Emeagwali tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  Emeagwali tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Emeagwali is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a jab.  
Jamil throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Jamil lands a cross.  Jamil throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Emeagwali connects with a MASSIVE right hook.  JAMIL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Jamil recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Emeagwali lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Emeagwali throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Emeagwali stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Emeagwali SLAMS a HUGE left uppercut into his opponents face.  JAMIL IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Jamil now seems to have his senses back.  
Emeagwali sidesteps to the left of his opponent and EXPLODES a DESTRUCTIVE cross into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES JAMIL!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE JAMIL THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Emeagwali!
