Xebec Oyono vs Theophilus Faruk

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi,  taking place on 25/05/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the African Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xebec Oyono (17 - 2(1)) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Theophilus Faruk(15(11) - 0) from Ilorin, Nigeria.  Both Oyono and Faruk weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Tumbo, and the three ringside judges are Leon Cassam, LeBron Naikuni and Shaun Chelangat.
