Leon Geels vs Mark Tierney

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 04/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Leon Geels (5 - 0) who hails from Henderson, USA and Mark Tierney(1 - 1) from Omaha, USA.  Both Geels and Tierney weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Hesson, and the three ringside judges are Corey Barnes, Robert Corfield and Brett Sproule.  

Round 1: 

Tierney pivots to the side of his opponent.  Geels attempts to land a jab, but Tierney blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Tierney advances into close range.  Geels lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Geels drives a right hook into Tierney's body.  
Geels sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.
