Philip Van Gasselle vs Yann Van Amere

Boxing Daily Report from the Pianim Promotions promoted show at Antwerp de Baeckere, Antwerp,  taking place on 14/05/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western Europe Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport10, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Philip Van Gasselle (15 - 2) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Yann Van Amere(11 - 2 - 1) from Eindhoven, Netherlands.  Van Gasselle weighed in at 135 pounds, while Van Amere weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lexis Camerman, and the three ringside judges are Florent Micault, Robin Daens and Jakob Van Caiseele.
