Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Borno State promoted show at Maiduguri Karim, Maiduguri,  taking place on 14/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chigozie Ekpo (8 - 0) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Hello Hippe(11 - 2 - 1) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Both Ekpo and Hippe weighed in at 140 pounds.
