Ovidio Geronimo vs Santiago Barreras

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Gimnasio Las Palma, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 15/05/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Central American Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ovidio Geronimo (11 - 2) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Santiago Barreras(13 - 4) from Choloma, Honduras.  Both Geronimo and Barreras weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Sanchez, and the three ringside judges are Roman Orduna, Xaverius Tavera and Fidel Llorente.
