Quaddus Salih vs Leonard Dangler

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Aarhus,  taking place on 18/05/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Quaddus Salih (5 - 0) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Leonard Dangler(7 - 8 - 2) from Bochum, Germany.  Both Salih and Dangler weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ultar Juul, and the three ringside judges are Thorstein Kaas, Denholm Overbey and Ultar Juul.  

Round 1: 

Salih gets on the inside.  Dangler throws a left hook, but Salih ties up his opponent.  Salih is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Salih advances into close range.  Salih quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Salih drives a right uppercut into Dangler's body.  
Dangler steps inside.  Salih pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.

Round 2: 

Salih sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Dangler.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Salih advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Salih holds on to his opponent.  Salih leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Salih sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Salih throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Salih clinches his opponent.  Salih leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Salih's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
