Blake McNee vs Werner de Boey

Boxing Daily Report from the Elliot Britton promoted show at Elliot Gym, Bristol,  taking place on 08/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Blake McNee (3 - 0) who hails from Southampton, UK and Werner de Boey(2 - 4 - 2) from Ghent, Belgium.  Both McNee and de Boey weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Duffy, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Calvert, Charlie Murphy and Harry Mullins.  

Round 1: 

McNee steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  McNee holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McNee pushes his forearm into de Boey's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McNee.  
McNee lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McNee is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
McNee steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  McNee is on target with a stinging left hook.  
de Boey is on target with a right hook.
