Nemesio Cortes vs Joaquin Alejandro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Antioquia promoted show at Medellin Feria, Medellin,  taking place on 16/05/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Colombia-Antioquia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nemesio Cortes (15 - 0) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Joaquin Alejandro(7 - 4) from Medellin, Colombia.  Cortes weighed in at 135 pounds, while Alejandro weighed in at 134 pounds and 13 ounces.
