Alvino Armijo vs Carlos Pedro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at San Jose Pedraza, San Jose,  taking place on 16/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Costa Rica-San Jose Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alvino Armijo (10(1) - 4 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Carlos Pedro(5 - 1 - 2) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Both Armijo and Pedro weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oihane Clavijo, and the three ringside judges are Onofre Marrufo, Esteban Macario and Sierra Abela.
